Lawful basis for processing
Depending on the data and circumstances, we rely on one or more of the following lawful bases under UK data protection law:
- Contract: to provide TempTake and manage your account.

- Legal obligation: where we need to keep records for tax, accounting, legal or regulatory reasons.

Android app and subscriptions
The TempTake Android app is used to access an existing TempTake account. Subscription checkout, plan upgrades and billing management are not provided inside the Android app.
Website subscriptions are handled through Stripe. If you subscribe or manage billing on the TempTake website, Stripe may process payment-related information under its own privacy and security terms.
How we store and share data
We do not sell personal data. Data is stored using third-party infrastructure providers that help us operate TempTake.
We may share or process data with:
- Supabase: authentication, database and storage services.
- Vercel: website and application hosting.
- Stripe: website subscription payments and billing management.
- Google Play: Android app distribution and review.
- Professional advisers, regulators or authorities where needed for legal, tax, accounting, security or regulatory reasons.
Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including authentication, access controls and secure hosting providers.
No online system is completely risk-free, because apparently the internet was built by optimists. We work to protect TempTake and limit access to data to people and systems that need it.
Retention
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security and support food safety records.
Compliance records may need to be kept for a reasonable period because food businesses may rely on them for audits, inspections, internal reviews or legal purposes.

- The right to access personal data.
- The right to correct inaccurate personal data.
- The right to request deletion of personal data.
- The right to restrict or object to certain processing.
